The whole unit is sturdy except for this one piece where part of the clip (which has the most pressure) is held by plastic and rubber. The clip is quite strong but useless now as the parts broken. This seems to be a common issue.

Ok, so this is a great quality item when you unpack it. The quick fitting QR code threw up an error code for me, but a quick google found the right video.I’ve had a nightmare trying to find a device like this that fits the Citroen C3 aircross vents. This also does not fit the vents I found, but it does stick well with the sticky pad. I found that sticking it to the left, on the flat panel that sits above the removable cup holder, is the best place. To the right and it gets in the way of the gear stick. I know this isn’t where people normally stick them, but it does actually sit well here. It doesn’t get in passengers way, and it’s not fell off. I have an iPhone 16 plus, so for context, it’s quite big and heavy. It’s not fell off the magnet, it’s not fell off the pad, and it’s not that magnetic that you feel like you’re going to rip the front panel off. It’s great, and I can finally have a magnetic charger in my car after many other attempts. Hope this is helpful for all you ‘strange air vent’ drivers out there.
