The car mount has a solid build quality. The magnet is strong and reliable, holding my phone in landscape and portrait orientation. I drive in a bumpy New York City terrain where there are multiple speed bumps, rough patches, and potholes. The car mount holds my phone through it all. My only con for this device is the charger quality is poor. I don’t receive a fast charge from it so I prefer to use another type of car charger (cigarette lighter adapter).

I must admit that I was skeptical about this product. Not only does it hold my phone, it does so through a thick case. It also charges at the same time, meaning I need one less cord in my card.

The new S3s are limited as to what kind of mount you can install. I’ve had this one for months and it’s perfect. I mount it on the left hand passenger vent and it’s great!

We paid around $40 for this charger, and while it is great, it is too expensive. If it is full price, I would wait for it to go on sale, which it has multiple times in the several months after our purchase. One issue with magsafe products is that sometimes the magnets are too strong, and the charger gets yanked with the phone. This charger solves this by giving you somewhere to use your fingers to leverage the phone off without pulling on the charger, it’s a pretty slick design.

I really love using this product with my iPhone 15 Pro Max in my F-150. The combination of magnetic mount and wireless charging is really convenient. The magnet is nice and strong and has never fallen off. I am using it in conjunction with a MagSafe case, which probably makes the connection even stronger. I often find myself using it as just the magnetic mount and using a USB-A to USB-C cable to use CarPlay and charge my phone. I would definitely recommend this product.
