Paperlike has a similar folio case (with a flap for the pencil), but it was way too expensive for me. I got the durable black ESR case instead. I don’t really know what makes it “durable.” It feels good in the hand, and appears to be excellent quality. I’m very happy with this case, but it is that pencil flap that clinched it for me. I have a folio case with no protection which is fine for sitting in my chair at home, but not if I’m on the move. I bought one that has a slot for the pencil, which works to protect the pencil, but is kind of a pain in the butt to use. Neither of those cases are the quality of this ESR case. The magnets seem stronger on the ESR case. Highly recommended.

I have had this case for 2 years now and it’s still in perfect condition. When the cover is folded back it makes a soft texture to hold, and it’s easy to fold into a stand when I need to prop my iPad up. I honestly prefer this to the actual Apple cases I tried, which are 5 times the price!

Nice replacement for apple pencil

Works really well. Baby it like I do so you don’t damage it. (That’s not a bad thing—I just want it to last a long time, I’m glad there are two. I’ve used mine for more than six months now. All good. It may be very durable but it is plastic. Will protect against scratches for sure, but not impact.
