I have now had this product for four years and it has never turned yellow and protects my iPad. Even though the iPad is no longer working. LOL the quality of the materials are ideal and durable. I cannot say how protected the iPad will be in the event that you dropped the iPad in this case, because I am very careful not to drop my equipment. However, I do believe that it protects from scratch scratches any type of bumps or things of that nature when handling your iPad outside of a normal every day case with cover.

The half shell does have a hard back, but only the back. The edges are the soft (TPU?), and a bit thick. It shouldn’t bother the average person, but I have fairly petite hands to match my 5′ 2" 110 lb frame.The cover itself is very well made. It fits perfectly. I have no complaints about the quality of the product and it’ll be passed on to my brother who will definitely appreciate it.

I just got this and I love it! I had one before and it had raised edges for drop protection, which hurt my hands after a while. This one has the raised edges to protect it but very cleverly placed at the corners. Same protection but not hard on the hands.Of all my devices with covers, this is probably my favorite.I got the black one and it made the silver on my IPad Pro look darker and it looks awesome.Five Stars! Best one on the market in my opinion! So happy with this purchase I reviewed it the day I got it.

I was using this one for almost one year and have no sign of yellowish. I wish this one have a matte back that match with the iPad surface. Anyway, it is still a best case I have ever tried.

I absolutely love it. It’s so sleek. I got it to replace a flexible one that wasn’t working for me. It makes the ipad easier to hold but I wouldn’t trust it to protect the ipad in a fall. Hope I never have to find out.
