As I do with all my phones, I want them to be well protected. For every phone I have had (all the way back to the iPhone 5c) I have put them in a protective case with a screen protector. So for my new iPhone 16 Pro, I wanted the same. And as I had done for all of my previous phones, I purchased an Otterbox. However, I did not like the cutout for the camera control button on this new case. It exposed too much of the side of the phone; and the edge of the screen protector. Saw that some other reviewers for the Otterbox experienced damage to their screen protectors in this area.So I started looking for an alternative, and found this ESR case. This case covers all of the phone around the camera control button. It has a thin strip of rubber that will provide some cushion for the screen protector (not much, but better than nothing). And surprisingly, I found that I could work the camera control button with my finger better with this case than the Otterbox. I did notice that the buttons on this case have gaps around the sides (only attached to the rest of the case at top and bottom). Opportunity for dirt to get caught in there from grubby fingers. Not a deal breaker.I also purchase screen protector kits that come with the camera lens protector. I was concerned that this ESR case (with the kickstand) would not work with a lens protector, but it fit around the protector perfectly. Happy customer.For any future phone purchases, the Otterbox case may be the first on my list….but not this time.

Military grade is not what it all the hype behind it is meant to be. I would know from serving in the military with military grade gear. Case is still in great shape. Phones fallen a couple times and no cracks…. Yet. My only downside was anticipating the port cover falling off because it’s made of rubber and it would lose integrity over time from bending it open / close as it has done now. Chose to make the review immediately after losing the cover when trying to plug my phone in

I like the design and the protection around the camera. The combo camera protector/stand is great. But the outer shell cracked with a drop. However, my phone was protected, so it did its job.

Great case. The buildup around the camera lenses makes the phone sit too far away on the inductive watch/phone charger stand for charging. May be able to charge if charging pad below watch or if set sideways in front.

Haven’t had this case for 24 hours but it feels secure. It fits the phone nicely. It does make the phone a little more bulky and heavy but is feels like it will absorb shock more than the silicone one I was using.

The quality of this case was excellent and the two part construction held it in place. The feel was grippy and substantial. I feel that it protected my phone to fullest. I ended up refunding it though because it makes the phone too bulky, but if your main goal is to protect your phone, this one is it!
