It is normal for your device(s) to warm up slightly during wireless charging, but abnormal if it gets too hot.
To prevent overheating when charging, please avoid:
● Using a protective case thicker than 2 mm.
● Placing metal accessories, credit cards, or pop sockets between your device(s) and the charger.
If overheating occurs, the charger will enter overheat-protection mode and pause charging. If this happens, please:
● Disconnect the device(s) from the charger, take off any protective case, and let the device(s) and charger cool down.
● Close apps that are not being used on your devices.
● When your device(s) and the charger have cooled down, resume charging.

Additional information about wireless charging speeds:

● When your iPhone stops charging at 80%, it may be due to "Optimized Battery Charging". Please check whether turning it off helps. Click Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Turn off "Optimized Battery Charging". If you haven't enabled "Optimized Battery Charging", the issue is mostly caused by the iOS upgrade. Please upgrade or wait for the next system upgrade.
